    Hattersville

A small but growing (fictional) town in southeast Arizona, about 65 miles from the Mexican border. A steam-powered train is the only way of getting into or out of this isolated town, unless you want to risk traveling 40 miles, through arid desert terrain, to the nearest city. With a slightly rising crime rate encouraged by the recent discovery of gold in a nearby creek, this town has grown from a population of 200 to over 2,300 in a matter of 5 years.

    Population: 2,379.

Sheriff: None - the last sheriff was shot about 6 times on Main Street, striking enough fear into the townspeople to stop them from trying to elect a new one.

Amenities: Bank, corral, 'The Grand' Hotel (hot baths sold!), brothel, farrier - plus a large horse/cattle ranch on the outskirts of town that sells all types of horses; cattle, and mustangs - firearms store, mexican imports shack, morgue, three saloons; The Oleander, The Tumbleweed and The Orient, the last of the three being the most high-class.

Resources: Horses, cattle, imported firearms, gold, hot baths, and women.

    Calico Creek

This thriving hub of entertainment is the Los Angeles of southwestern New Mexico. With it's abundance of gold, silver, and lead, miners from all around flock to Calico Creek, making it a haven for the man searching for easy fortune. But with fortune also comes crime and thieves, and Calico Creek sure isn't deprived of it's share of crooks. A big-wig cattle rancher on the edge of town named Perry Caine controls most of the stores. A hot spring at the end of the main street, from which pours the town's namesake, Calico Creek, provides a fair amount of tourism each year, as well, along with a large theater.

    Population: 15,893.

    Sheriff: Abigail 'Mae' Tilghman.

Amenities: Greenhorn Inn, Calico Horse Trader, Caine General Store, bank, hot spring baths, mineral mining, imported firearms, theater, bordello, one huge saloon called The Pulpit.

Resources: Gold, silver, lead, salt, horses, cattle, Mexican imports, women.
