Fenwood Equestrian Centre.

Fenwood is located in the beautiful Yorkshire dales and specialises in breeding and training Thoroughbreds to their maximum racing potential.
Fenwood is also a livery yard with 58 stables, 110 acres of land, 3 olympic-sized indoor sandschools, 2 olympic-sized outdoor sandschools, 4 race tracks of different sizes, a stud farm and many miles of scenic, hacking routes.
Due to it's huge success in the racing area, Fenwood has expanded into an equestrian centre and has catered for many rider's needs. The Thoroughbreds bred there are also trained in another type of riding, such as Dressage or Showjumping to make them the perfect competition horses around.
Holly Thompson, owner of the yard, is also the on-site vet, and is known nationally for being a superb equine surgeon, breeder and jockey. She bred, trained and raced the famous Heila Varjostaa(nicknamed, Stag), a great 17.3 hands high bay thoroughbred stallion whom has brought home the 1st place in the Grand National, the Derby and has an unbeatable track record so far. Stag also is used and ridden by many female riders, as he hates men and become violent at the sight of them, and has also exceeded in Showjumping and other areas of riding.
Boarding fees at Fenwood are expensive due to it's reputation as an excellent equestrian centre.
