PLS Printed In Ink

An example for his kind, PLS Printed in Ink, also called Brimstone by the ones who care for him, has won 98% of all the dressage competitions he has entered. This 6 year old, 16.3 hand high, pure black stallion is currently valued at 4.3 million dollars, and has been born, raised, and trained at Paper Lantern Stables. His owner, young 20 year old Hannah Brand, has won 3 gold Olympic medals with him. He has not yet been bred, but is now open, only to other Dutch Warmbloods.

PLS Headline News

An apprentice at Paper Lantern Stables, Headline is a promising prospect in the barrel-racing world. A 16 HH Appaloosa/Quarter Horse cross, Headline also bears both the speed and compact muscles of the Quarters, and the docile nature of the Appaloosas, making him the perfect man for the job. Only 3 years old, he is still in training, but has been seen at the local rodeos from time to time, showing off his barrel-racing prowess.

PLS Collision Course

Our sole race horse, Collision Course gets a lot of attention. A 14.3 Thoroughbred/Canadian Racehorse cross, Collision is just above the limit for pony height, making him a seemingly handicapped racehorse, but try telling that to his rider Jerry Sands when he won the Kentucky Derby last year! "I'm quite proud of the little guy." He said.
But when he was racing the Preakness last May, he had a terrible fall, breaking his hind right pastern. Every vet said thought he would have to be euthanized, but the tough little pony endured, and was back on the track the very next year.
Breedings are open to any racing breeds.

PLS Life Support

Life Support is a heartily built, 15.3 HH Lippizaner stallion, versed in the arts of dressage and haute ecole. Life Support has a fiery nature around the stables yet becomes gravely calm when doing dressage.
Lie Support spent most of his life at the Spanish Riding School in Vienna and while he was there has taken on an extreme dislike of men. He will tolerate them when in the dressage ring, but if he sees one near him at the stables, he becomes aggressive.

PLS Pride And Joy


This young, 16 HH, 5-year old Hanoverian mare truly lives up to her name as the top jumper at our stables. Winning 4 three-day events in a row, this year alone, and with a top score of 81.4 percent in dressage, Pride's future at Paper Lantern Stables is definitely promising. Hanoverian and Thoroughbred stallions may breed to her.

PLS Jukebox Rock

This three-year old, 15 HH mustang filly is an aspiring rodeo bronc, and she's perfect for the job, too. Her bad-tempered personality sometimes makes her more trouble than she's worth, and from bad experiences in her past, she also despises men.
