The Leopard Appaloosa mare sighs, after days of traveling she looks up with desperate eyes, hoping for the best but expecting the worst.
Her expectations do not let her down.
An eerie forest was possibly the last thing she wants to see at this time of day. Twilight.
She shakes her sweat covered bodice and snorts non to elegantly, why bother acting like a snotty nosed, poshy pony when there is no one to act for?
She sighs drastically as she walks under the dark canopy of the trees. Her eyes take a while to adjust, she blinks rapidly as she takes cautious steps through branches and ferns. She fails to notice a thin, dark fallen tree and stumbles over it. She throws her head up as far as it can go as she falls chest first into the damp mouldy leaves. She grunts, trying to keep quiet for fear of attracting predators, and lands heavily on her knees and falls to one side.
She pulls a face at such clumbsyness and hauls herself to her shakey legs.
Shaking off wet leaves she heads forward again, wincing at first at the pain in her left front knee.

The tall black stallion walked carfully through the dim forest. His eyes darted around for any sign of a predator, or a lone mare. Tossing his sleek black mane he walked carfully down the hill tword a small crck. Lipping at the water her kept his muscles tence and ready for action under his black coat. Lifting his head he flicked an ear back hearing a noice. ALmost like someone falling. He moved swiftly to see what ever happened

Barbed Wire Bracelets snorts, squinting her eyes shut to try to control the stinging pain in her knee. Then she cussed herself for being such a baby and forced her slightly shaky legs forward.
She raised her head and perked her ears at a new sound, soft running water bubbling over smooth river stones. She whinnied hoarsely and moved into an awkward limping trot through the dense trees.
